What we see in Merriam
Local construction, local pest pressure
Merriam sits along I-35 and Turkey Creek in northeast Johnson County. Homes are mostly 1950s–60s with basements, and the Turkey Creek flood plain through the middle of town means more moisture-driven pests — millipedes, springtails and cockroaches — than in the drier neighborhoods uphill.
Why Merriam Homeowners Choose All Star
Older structures, rentals, garages, basements, restaurants, and commercial areas can increase roach, ant, spider, rodent, and termite activity.
30+ Years Experience
Real field knowledge from someone who has seen what works and what does not.
No Contract Required
Plans are available if you want one, and one-time service is always an option.
Guaranteed Re-Service
If pests come back between scheduled visits, we come back and make it right.
Direct Owner Contact
You talk to the person responsible for solving the problem.
Family-Conscious Treatments
Modern treatment methods with respect for families, pets, pollinators, and wildlife.
Clear Pricing
A firm quote from the owner after a free inspection — no hidden fees and no surprise bills.
Seeing Ants in Walls in Merriam?
Carpenter ants and acrobat ants in a wall usually point to moisture — a leak, a damp sill, or wood that stays wet. We find the source of the moisture and the nest, not just the ants you can see.
Not sure if it's ants or termites? Here's how to tell them apart.
