Killing every bug in the yard is bad pest control
A yard is not a blank slate. Most of what lives in it is either harmless or actively working for you. Ground beetles eat roach nymphs. Ladybugs and lacewings clear aphids. Most spiders in a Kansas City basement spend their whole lives eating the insects you would have called us about.
When a company sprays the whole property on a schedule, those predators go first, because they are out in the open hunting while the actual pests are tucked into voids, cracks, and soil. A few weeks later the pests come back with nothing left to eat them, and you are on a treadmill.

Pollinators
Bees and butterflies are the reason your garden fruits and your neighbor's tomatoes set. We treat away from blooming plants, avoid broadcast spraying flowering beds, and time applications when pollinators are least active.
Beneficial insects
Not every bug in your yard is a problem. Ground beetles, ladybugs, lacewings, and most spiders eat the pests you actually called about. Blanket-spraying a property kills those first and leaves you with a worse problem in six weeks.
Birds and backyard wildlife
Rodent work is where most harm to owls, hawks, foxes, and neighborhood cats happens, through secondary poisoning. We lead with exclusion and trapping, and we use tamper-resistant stations where bait is warranted.
Your family and pets
We inspect first, treat only where the pressure actually is, and tell you plainly what to do before and after a service — what to cover, where to keep the dog off, and how long.
Water and runoff

Straight answers
- Does pollinator-friendly pest control actually work on real infestations?
- Yes. Targeted treatment is usually more effective than blanket spraying, because it puts the product where the pests are harboring and breeding instead of thinning out everything in the yard. Wiping out the predator insects along with the pests is how properties end up on a permanent spray cycle.
- Do you have to spray my flower beds?
- Usually not. Most pest pressure comes in along the foundation, entry points, eaves, and harborage areas, not from blooming plants. If something in a flowering bed does need attention, we will talk with you about timing and approach first.
- What about my dog and my kids?
- We treat where the pest activity is, not everywhere, and you get clear prep and re-entry guidance before we start. If you have pets, small children, chickens, a garden, or a pond, tell us up front and we will plan the service around it.
- Will you kill the bees in my wall?
- Call us before deciding. Honey bees in a structure are often better relocated than treated, and we will tell you honestly what you are dealing with. Many stinging insect calls turn out to be wasps, hornets, or yellowjackets, which is a different situation entirely.
- Do you use chemicals at all?
- Yes, we use professional products, applied according to their labels. Anyone telling you they solve real pest problems with nothing at all is selling you something. The difference is how much, where it goes, and what gets left alone.
