How to Identify It
Reddish-brown, extremely small (about the size of a pinhead), with front legs noticeably longer than the others and extending forward like antennae. Moves slowly on light surfaces like windowsills and curtains.
Size: 0.75 mm — nearly invisible without close inspection

Chiggers (not visible to the naked eye at this size, and bite rather than simply wander) and spider mites (found on plants, not walls).
Why It Shows Up
